Many have already managed a business and know what they want to undertake. What they lack is start-up capital, a place to sell, and the tools to manage their money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the project does<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Train.<\/strong> Each participant undergoes practical training: cost calculation, price setting, stock and working capital management, and financial literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Equip.<\/strong> Seed capital and, if necessary, equipment are handed over personally at the Beni office after the signing of a lease agreement in the beneficiary's name. They thus have a workspace and initial stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Monitor.<\/strong> For six months, the team provides field support for each business: coaching, bookkeeping, and early savings. A VSLA (Village Savings and Loan Association) is gradually established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Businesses launched<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Juice production<\/li>\n\n<li>Flour production<\/li>\n\n<li>Popcorn and chips<\/li>\n\n<li>Small business<\/li>\n\n<li>Urban market gardening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had chosen agriculture, but I opted for a small business so I would not keep the money at home.<\/p>\n<cite>Noella, small business<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accountability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every form of support is handed over personally against a signed contract.
