Without protection or knowledge of their rights, economic progress remains precarious: a business can be lost overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We therefore consider the protection of rights as a condition for autonomy, rather than as a separate component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Learn.<\/strong> Community awareness sessions, open to all, address women's rights, violence prevention, and the promotion of equality. They are aimed at both women and men, and both young people and neighborhood leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Act.<\/strong> We support those most exposed to risks, particularly survivors of violence and displaced families, through psychosocial and community support. We also promote dialogue between host communities and displaced populations to strengthen social cohesion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Succeed.<\/strong> Community leadership allows women to speak out, participate in decisions in their neighborhood, and in turn relay prevention messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who this program is for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To women and young people in the neighborhoods and sites where we operate, to survivors of violence, to internally displaced families, and to the communities that host them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rights are better understood, by both women and those around them.<\/li>\n\n<li>Violence is better prevented and survivors are less isolated.<\/li>\n\n<li>Peaceful relationships between host communities and displaced populations.<\/li>\n\n<li>Women who participate in community decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Empower Women, Empower Communities.<\/p>\n<cite>Inua D\u00e9veloppement<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This area covers the project <a href=\"https:\/\/inuadev.org\/en\/projects\/gender-based-violence\/\">Combating gender-based violence<\/a> and the<a href=\"https:\/\/inuadev.org\/en\/projects\/support-for-crisis-affected-communities\/\">Support for crisis-affected communities<\/a>.
